Digipak Definition
Digipaks are a twist on the traditional plastic jewel case, using a thick card stock to make the CD packaging. Commonly, most Digpaks flip open like a book but some unconventional designs include 3 to 4 parts that fold onto each other. The part that holds the CD is plastic, but the plastic is simply attached onto the paper. Other Digipaks may also have a CD sized pocket that holds the disc. Every Digipak follows a theme that portrays the image of the Artist or the specific Album. It contains a large amount of graphic content which is visually interesting and captivates the audience, which in turn promotes the music.
