We presented Our ideas to the class and gained a lot of helpful feedback and ideas that could help us with our music video planning and production

Narrative focus

the main focus or aspect of our music video is to raise awareness of male domestic abuse. Our original idea was to have it introduce female domestic violence, but we wanted to make even more original. we thought about the lack of awareness for male domestic abuse as male partners also have to face it. It could end up challenging the stereotypes of our characters as the male will not be as dominant.

Omniscient narrator

An idea of ours is to have an Omniscient narrator in the music video. In the shots the singer will be there with the other relationship however they will have no connection with them whatsoever. This also evokes an aspect of Voyeurism.

Genre Change

After changing our song we realised that the genre was no longer RnB and more Pop. By changing the genre our idea has still stayed the same however some new conventions may appear or be subverted.
